i read this on yahoo canada. are you in canada or the us. if you are in the us you have no legal right to know unless you involved ie the parent grandparent family etc. it is all privacy laws etc.

go to the courts and find out must of these cases if an adult is charged are public records. contact the DA's office. if it is juvenile matter you will never know. juvi records are all private no matter what.

If you see no difference in the home situation take for granted that no follow up has been made and make another complaint or get a friend to make another complaint. The system is so over worked. The individual counsilors have so much paper work to fill out that they hardly have time to finish their office work let alone go out in the field.

VERY SAD SITUATION when the child suffers for someone bogged down in the paper jungle....
