after thyroid surgery i started my peroid, and have now for three weeks is this due to the surgery ?

Could be. Everybody reacts to surgery different. I would ask a Doc just in case.

Isn't your thyroid gland in your throat You've been on your period for three weeks? That doesn't add up. You need to be checked out.
