I think it depends on which brand/store you're used to. At Target, they run super-duper small, so they seem big when I go to Old Navy. But funny, since they're the same company, I run even bigger at Gap. Sad, but you can't go by sizes anymore; designers make their own sizes. Not like men's, which goes by actually inches. Don't worry about it wherever you go, just remember you have to hassle and try them on. THey're all different.

i find the clothes are cut disproportionally at time. the sleeves and the shirt lengths too short, shoulders might be okay on some styles but may leave a lot to be desired when it fall down to the waist. the pant inseams are always too short. the only good thing there is the cheap fleece off the sale rack. plain english, cheap quality -- i feel that both gap, and old navy are trying to cut corners on everything. a gap shirt is not worth 60 bucks. oh -- im a medium at guess, buffalo and a small at american eagle. the o/n small is loose in the wrong parts, and the sleeve and hems are too short. you'd be better off going to walmart than old navy. the gap is bearable, but the stuff is so gross.

They run big. I usually wear a small (or 4) but from Old Navy I buy extra small or 2. I found an extra-small skirt on sale there and bought it without trying it on, but it doesn't fit me at all. I'm short and it looks like the skirt was made for an extra tall woman with plus-size hips.

I think so.Usually I'm a 5 but in oldnavy I'm a 2.I don't know if that's a good thing or not.Though I really don't like the way the jeans fit compared to apple bottom or baby phat jeans.

Yes I think they do run small. I'm very small at the top and I usually get a large or x-large shirt there.
