Since I'm not a Red Sox fan, I'll give you my perspective on the so-called hallowed Fenway. It's better on TV and during a day game.

I found the place cramped, dirty and dark even with the lights on for a night game. Of all the old parks I visited, I would say it's the most overrated. I much preferred Tiger Stadium to this place.

Look, love the quirky angles but the Green Monster really is just plain weird. It's cool and all but I would rank Tiger, Wrigley, old Comiskey and even Yankee Stadium ahead of Fenway. The fans, on the other hand, are tops at Red Sox games...I just hope when they get new fenway, they upgrade a few things.

I have been to probably 20-30 games at Fenway. Without question the best baseball stadium for the history and the fans. Yeah if you wear a Yankees cap you will be harassed but not beat up. The fans are very loud voice their opinions but are very respectful for the game also. You may even be lucky and sit next to a guy that has been going since Ted Williams played there. If you are planning on going with a child and you don't want them to hear certain words stay away from the bleachers. I can't think of a better place to be for a game though. The only other stadium I can say the same things all around for is Wrigley.

By the way I have been to 18 different baseball stadiums in the U.S.

I 2000, I drove from Spokane, WA to Boston just to see the Red Sox. It was my mecca as I didn't even buy tickets beforehand and was lucky enough to get one without having to pay a scalper. I was on cloud nine the whole time I was there. I even called the woman I was dating and let her know I was there. She later said that she could clearly hear the joy in my voice.
I walked all over the place and really had a lot of fun. I was so awed by the experience that I forgot to have something to eat while there. I didn't know that Boston shuts down at 10:00 p.m. pretty much and even Pizza couldn't be delivered. So I went without eathing that night but it was worth it just to have seen the Sox in Fenway.

I have been to a lot of sox games at Fenway. I have always had a great time going there. There are so many things that come to mind when going to the game on a hot summer night. The sight's and the sounds. The smells of Fenway are so unforgettable. Hot dogs and pretzels, ice cream and cold beer! There is nothing like it, when you walk into the ball park and you stand there amazed at the playing field and it's lush green carpet. There is so much history at Fenway. Finally there is nothing like the roar of the crowd when your favorite player drives a ball over the Green Monster! If you have never been, it's worth the price of a ticket to go for the first time. Just try not to sit out in the bleachers unless your looking for a crazed time at Fenway.

Ive been to maybe 12 Games in Fenway Park in my life. Im a yankee fan. Im from and live in NYC, so on occasion ill fly to Boston to See games with my dad and Brothers or Friends. And honestly, aside from the standard trash talking from Red sox fans when theyre winning, and the standard smack talk from the Yankee fans when we're winning, everything was fine, and very pleasant. But there where 3 times where there were...incidents. there was a fight once between me and this guy who was i guess drunk and kept going on about how i was too cute to be a moron yankee fan and he waited till the 6th inning of a *** whipping Boston was putting on the Yankees to reach back and grab one of my breasts and basically, my 2 brothers and me jumped on him. The Second incident involved my dad, who is an NYPD Captain and a guy throwing a beer on him and my father and his friend handcuffing the guy face down on the concrete steps and having him arrested. and the last Incident was actually the very last time i was there and was this group of teenagers who kept saying inappropriate things to me and my two female friends during the game, and it was during that 5 game sweep in Boston this passed season..the Game where Jeter beat Mike Timlin and basically ripped out the Red Sox hearts. And after Jeter got the hit These guys got REALLY offensive with the Sexual Inuendo and it turned into a really bad argument and the police had to come down and even the other Boston Fans around us said the guys were being really Awful so they were escorted out. Those 3 times aside tho, i LOVED the Park, the Atmosphere, the intensity.. LOVED IT...tho i despise the Team lol.

Yeah I went in August.

It was pretty funny. I wore a Jeter jersey and a Yankee hat. You should've seen all the looks I was getting.

I actually got a ball from batting practice too!

Lol and there was a blast from the past. Aaron Boone hit a homer right around the foul pole in left. Not to win it, but it was in the same place he hit it in Yankee Stadium a few years ago.

It was a pretty great day and an awesome experience.
