when people are young they are doing their social climbing and trying to keep up with the Jones family. I have been there, done that and, as usual with all people who grow up and value what is important, I just kept downsizing. Now I am home for good at 64.....out in the country where I grew up. My newly remodeled farmhouse is just barely 2000 sq. ft with just enough room for all my kids and grandchildren to come home Thanksgiving and bring their families....beds all over the house!!! I have a 4000 sq. ft. garden for veggies and flowers. Everyday I pinch myself to see if it is really true that I get to live out my life this way....a pure state of gratitude to God and doing what I love the most in life.
