I need to reset my clock in my pontaic because my battery died and when it did, it through my clock off....only problem is that I cant figure out how to do it because unlike most cars, there are no specific buttons to change the time. Someone please help, because it's annoying to have to look at the wrong time!!

On my 2004 Grand prix I have the electronic display of mailes and stuff and there is a menu in that program.

You can do it with the car on and the radio off or on it doesn't matter you push the button that says Tune and push until it shows the clock and then push the up or down arrow keys under the display and hold them until you hear a beep and then you can reset the clock

my mom has an '02 grand am and I think the radio has to be off, and I think hold down the clock set button...this is all from memory though, but I'm pretty sure about the radio having to be off.
If nothing else go to a pontiac or gm dealership and ask someone there, they'll be more than willing to help!!

It depends on which radio you have. most have the hour and minute buttons - you just have to hold them until the clock starts rolling. You might want to look for and press a 'Set' button, then hold seek/scan.

Can't. If you read your owners manual, it doesn't explain how to reset the basic radio clocks. The radio must be the basic model. You have to upgrade the radio.
