Race is an artificial and sometimes arbitrary way to classify people, so it's not going to be perfect. Look at the word "white". Time was white only meant people from Northern, Western and Eastern Europe. Now Greeks and Italians are white and only neo-Nazis don't consider Jews white. Syrians and Lebanese are slowly getting lumped in with whites. The definition of white keeps expanding. The word "black" is arbitrary, because people who are Black Americans have a huge range of skin colors. And some of these stars you see in Bollywood movies are supposed to be brown, but they have blue eyes and skin a shade or two lighter than me, if that. I think the Census Bureau should either get rid of the racial question entirely or print out 250 ethnic groups and you check off as many as apply.

In that case some white people should be considered black. Considering the amount of money they spend at the tanning salons. There are also some blacks who are born lighter than some white people. (******* that a new word to me)

Man once thought that the sun revolve around the earth. Similar empirical wisdom has told us that anyone who has a different skin shade or eye shape is of a different race. The truth is that there is more genetic diversity in sub-Saharan Africa than in the entire rest of the world. Stupidity is rough habit to kick.

Indians definitely did not derive from the ******* race. It has been proved that Indians are caucasian and they derived from the Caucasoid race.

I would think that races are categorized by the country they come from for statistic purposes. I think all latins should be considered hispanics but a mexican is considered caucasian unless the document specifically states hispanic or mexican...

Ive never heard of whites not claiming Italians and Greeks as whites. Ive heard black people saying that Italians should be considered black but that's just stupid. Arabs are Arabs they are neither white or black. Just like Asians are Asians they are neither white or black. And Latinos are Latino they are not black. People categorize and generalize because they are stupid.Period

As far as I know there is only one race on this planet, human. All of the things you speak of are nationalities or subcategtories of the human race.
