Anyone like to say what bank they're with and good and bad points. I'm with HSBC and they're a bunch of crooks. Looking around for something better, be grateful for your opinions

If you're in Britain, the Co-operative Bank is good.

It's the only one with a complete ethical investment policy, and I've always found them helpful and less impersonal than the Halifax, my previous bank.

I think you are unfairly judging by saying everyone at hsbc are bad, but obviously if you have had bad experiences, that is what you are going to judge by.

Why is it you don't like hsbc and think they are "crooks" as this may help gude you to another lender, as some may do the same as what you are currently experiencing.

Before you go to any lender, make sure that the rate they quote you is not a typical rate (ie they credit score you at that rate and then end up giving you one a lot higher) as this is what the majority of lenders now do.

Hmmm I work for a bank but not the one i'm about to recommend.

I love First Direct.

They are so helpful and availbale 24/7 for all your needs either online or telephone.

They do not bombard you with sales calls and have a good range of products.

I have always found them exceptionally helpful and professional.

I wish the bank I worked for could be as efficient.
