Depends on "how" you mean by rich. If you mean financially, just look at their clothes, car, accessories, home.
But there are other ways to be "rich." I am rich in the fact that I have two beautiful wonderful happy healthy children, I have a wonderful loving family support system, my parents live next-door as does my brother and his family. I have a wonderful extended family that is here, we all keep in touch, all across the States. And we have pets that we consider part of our families.
You can tell, just by the smiles on their faces. By the fact they have people around them.

there are many riches,.... one can be rich with good health, friends family, etc,... however I imagine that you are referring to being able to look at a person and see if they are "dripping" in money.
You simply can not define traits, habits or characteristics of someone to tell if they have a lot of monetary wealth. A homeless person could have millions of dollars,.. while someone living in a mansion is barely able to pay their bills.
and if you need to flaunt wealth and riches, then more than likely you are not truly rich.

Let's see, I am healthy, I live in a country where I am free to do pretty much what I want to within the confines of the law. My son is happy, healthy, well adjusted and married to a fantastic young lady. I have a job I love, my car is paid for, my trailer is paid for (hell yes I said trailer), my family survived Hurricane Katrina with very little damage. I have fantastic friends. I have never gone without food or shelter (even during and after Katrina). No one in my family has ever been raped, robbed, or murdered. I am very, very rich aren't I!!!
