at 30 weeks I was given a sono gram and docs measured the baby to be 32 weeks at between 3 1/2-4 pounds just went to docs at 32+2 weeks and am measuring at 35 weeks. how much should he have gained at this point, due to pregnancy issues it is possible the baby will be delivered at 34-36 weeks, will he be ok or should I be scared? I know he is big but how big?

If you are measuring further along than normal, it only means that your baby has developed faster than the average child. This poses no risks and your baby should be just fine if delivered at 34-35 weeks. Even a baby growing normally has a very high percent chance that they will be a good healthy size at this time. My mother never went past 37 weeks and all her babies were 7 and 8 pounds. You are actually really lucky, your baby "cooked" faster and so you don't have to be miserable and big for so long. Don't worry at all. You should have a healthy baby at least 6 pounds if he continues to measuring bigger than normal and you deliver at 34-36 weeks. Good Luck on your baby and Congrats!

My guess is that your baby will be about 6 to 6 1/2 pounds if delivered at 36 weeks, which is a good size for a baby that is four weeks early. My last baby measured 6 pounds at 34 weeks and she weighed 11 lbs, 8 oz at 42 weeks (two weeks late and a third baby!). So, the one pound per week is pretty accurate!

Good luck!

The baby will be okay at this point the baby is gaining about 1 and a half pounds per week. If he does comes then he will be okay.

After 30 weeks I ting they gain about a pound a week. So he should be just fine. Don't stree about it because at this point you are far enough along that he will be in good shape to come out.

Yeah your baby will be fine. Also the sonograms/ultrasounds are only guestimates, not exact meausrements.
