I would like to bring my gerber daisies inside over the winter since they are full of blooms and very pretty. Is this possible? Thought I would put a grow light on them. Would appreciate any help I can get.

You surely may bring them in and just keep in a sunny window...however, gro lights would be even better....the main thing is to keep where the temps are in the 50's up until no more than 70 degrees...the biggest problem with Gerbers in the house is that roots at the bottom get too wet. If this happens, use 1 tablespoon of peroxide per 8 ounces of warm water...don't let it get on the leaves...they need good drainage in the house. You might decide to divide the plant and make two plants. In this case you could create a better draining soil.

I would think it would work but make sure that you consistantly have the heat on since it might get a little cold for them where you live . good luck and god bless you.
