We're thinking of going to one next year. So we need to know some of the best! We are probably going to be all around 17-ish and like most popular music. Please post suggestions, thanks (:

Hi >
Well, you can't beat good old Glastonbury, bit pricy now, but well worth it. Four days in a tent, or better, a truck/camper van.
Job done. People being sick outside .... etc.
I play there next year, from the back of my old hippy truck.
Being an old hippy.
See you there - look out for the big purple thing. !!

Well in Ireland the most popular for your age group is the Oxegen Festival it's mental and lets all ages in but I think if you are under 18 you must be accompanied at the entrance by an over 18, doesnt really make sense! It's held over weekend in July,
The ultimate festival in Ireland is the Electric Picnic a boutique music festival its over 18s or under 12s accompanied by parents, it has just had its 3rd year here and its amazing 3 days of every kind of music style you can imagine and a great mix of really nice people no violence or mad lunatics setting your tent on fire just heaven for 3 days. It's held evry september just as the summer ends and its brilliant. check out hte website www.electricpicnic.ie

Depending on your location, these are the best. Redding, UK, Bonaroo, Virginia, Farm Aid, location changes, usually midwest. Lollapalosa had so many good acts this year, it was in Chicago which is an easy city to visit, and the festival was downtown.

It really depends on what you like and how far you want to travel. I've only been to Farm Aid on that list.

t in the park was awesome this year. i've got my tickets for next year's and about half have already been sold. you'll need to have a look on the ticketmaster website or have a look around the internet for the date when they next go on sale: it'll be sold out abotu 30 minutes after they go up. wikipedia says muse, oasis, radiohead, paul weller, elton john, the killers, my chemical romance and dream theater could be there, so it's looking good (there's usually about 40 acts overall). all the big bands/artists of 2007 will be there.

We have a seafood festival every oct here in clearwater fla . it is great but lately too many tourists are there and the locals cant get in. I get really sick of the tourists . I mean we live here all year long and support this community and then when we want to attend this it is too crowded go figure. good luck and god bless.
