I switched not tooo long ago and my doctor told me that the spotting should go away within the first three months. If it hasn't and it bothers you, you should probably go back to your doctor to find something that fits your life better.

A lot of the time it's according to how long ytou've been on them. It takes a while for them to get out of your system. It took 1 1/2 tears for depo-provera to get out of mine.

Should stop within a day or two until your body has adjusted to the new hormone levels. If not, see your doc again.
