I'm glad you brought this confusion up! This is one of the most puzzling mistakes conservatives make with media citations. It doesn't MATTER what the political persuasion of the source is if they are QUOTING NEOCONSERVATIVES like Richard Perle, Kenneth Adelman, David Frum- who are, in fact, interviewed in the Vanity Fair piece.
