I have a friend but she is allways putting stuff in my food at lunch and I have another friend that I really like being friends with but my other friend won't let me hang out with her. When friend 2 isn't around friend 1 acts like I am her best friend. She really gets on my nerves sometimes but she doesn't have many friends so I don't know what to tell her.

What do you mean "won't let you". Sounds like you're allowing someone to control you. No one has that power or right unless you give it to them. Please redefine your terms of what a friend is.
Friends don't act as the ones you have described here.....

You need to get away from Friend #1 because she is not a friend. Friends do not put stuff in each others food, that is the sign of a sick person. And another red flag is her being nice one time and mean the next. She doesn't sound like she is all there. Stick with friend #2. Someone you enjoy being with and that you don't have to worry about your food or her going psycho on you.
If friend # 1 is truly unstable who's to say that one day her antics won't excelerate to be more harmful.

The fact that friend #1 puts stuff in your food and tells you whom you can and cannot hang out with should send red flags above your head. It doesn't make any sense that she would do something like that. Continue to stay friends with friend #2. Friend #1 shouldn't do stuff like that and she should know better. Friends don't put stuff in other people's food and they should respect the other people you hang out with. Talk to friend #1 and tell it like it is. Don't waste your time trying to be friends with someone who poisons your food and tells you what to do. Friend #1 doesn't deserve a friend like you. I hope this helps. Good luck.

Hi,
This is a hard one. If she treasures your friendship so much I don't understand how she could do these weird things. I think she is trying hard so you will like her. You need to explain to her that is is not right with the way that she is acting, and that you would not do these things to her so you don't expect them done to you. Don't worry it is normal for one friend to get jelous if you want to hang out with someone else. They just think that they might loose your friendship. You seem like a nice person adn you got to tell her that you are always going to be her friend and that she has nothing to worry about.

You need to talk to your friend that is giving you problems. Sit her down and explain to her, the things that she is doing is upsetting you, if she changes then you know that she is your friend but if not that means that she does not care. And that is not a friend.

Real friends dont get jealous or try to control you. True friends know you need to eat your lunch to maintain energy and be able to function properly.

If a friend hurts you in any way, they're not a true friend to begin with. you need to tell this friend to stop. Maybe this is why she doesn't have many friends.
