I found a box of old stuff from when i was a kid. It was a whole bunch of Barbie dolls. I look at the back of them and they all had the dates from the 1990's. But one doll looked different and on the back it says 1966 Mattel, Inc. China. It has a little lever on the back, and when you pull it down, it makes the Barbie wave her hand. Could this be worth anything, or is it still pretty common?

Wel looks like if you got a hold of someone who works w/ antiques you could possibly sell it for a bit... NOT a fortune but you would get alot!!! they don`t make those anymore so i`m guessing you could sell it for a bit!!!!!

Its not that common anymore. I would say check on ebay and see if anyone is selling anything like it. type in something like 1966 barbie or antique waving barbie and see what comes up. just an idea, but i hope it helps

A mint condition, in the original box Barbie went for close to $400 on TV, she did not wave, in fact, I never saw a waving Barbie before. Worth checking out, especially if it is in mint cindition.

If it's still in good shape. and if there were clothes tha came with the doll ,they would make the doll more inticing to a collector!
