So I have a Dance at my school where the girls ask the guys so I need an idea of how to ask!?

Im not meaning to ask to actually dance..I mean I have to ask him to the dance..As in be my date...I have to do it in a cute way..I dont want to decorate his room ither ppl do that too much

Think AHEAD!!
Here are the simple(ish) steps:
1. Find a guy that you think is worthy of your attention.
2. Keep your eye on him for a few days to see how he treats other girls, and his friends....oh yeah, make sure he doesen't have a gf....
3. Talk to him occassionally and FLIRT
4. Try to "accidently" run into him frequently
5. Become friends/aquaintences
6. Say "hey, are you going to the dance", if he says no, ditch him, and start over. If he says yes, say something like "well, i guess i'll see you there then", or "I thought it would be cool if we went together, but only if you want to"
OR wait until he brings it up!

If this Dance is normally held in your school every year I'm sure all the boys will know about the custom of the girl asking the boy to the dance. Rest assured that they will be all excited and possibly boasting to each as to which girl will ask them. This is a male thing.
If there is a boy that you really like just go up to him and ask him directly if he will be your partner at this dance. Chances are that this will boost his ego and he be honored to accompany you.

-Borrow a romote control car and tape the invitation to the top and ring the doorbell and hide, when the door opens drive the car up.
-give him some goldfish with a note that says "of all the fish in the sea, I choose you to..."
-Put a message in an ice cube that says something like "It would be really cool if you'd..."
-put hershey's kisses around the doorway in house with a note that says "now that i've kissed the ground you walk on, will you..."
-make a candy bar poster (write a poster with some words replaced by candy bars)
My friend got asked to a dance by having a scavenger hunt and all the clues were song lyrics, the last one was "I hope you Dance" and he wrote at the bottom "I hope you will dance with me"

Wear a big Neon Sign saying: 'Shy & Awkward'
or you could make yourself as comfotable with yourself as possible (favorite clothes etc) and actually just ask the person (who you must think may be receptive) straight out: 'would you like to go to the dance with me?'

They used to be called 'Ladies Excuse Me!' You just walk up to someone you think you'd like to dance with and say 'May I have this next dance with you?'
