not even that....look at some of the foreign athletes that have been in the NBA.....like the 7' plus tall ones..... just need some coordination and height.

The only reason that someone would play high school basketball is to get the attention of colleges. Then from college, if he is good, he can play professionally.
But if he can get into a college team without the high school exposion, I don't see a problem.
If he can't get into a major (as far a basktball goes) university, some universities and junior colleges hold open try-outs. Once he is on the squad, and plays well, he can transfer to a major university.

uhhh...dude above me...
M.J. did play High School ball all 4 years of High School! He got cut from the Varsity team as a Sophmore! But Still played on the J.V. team! He then became a High School All-American before going to UNC!!!!
oh and to answer your question, you probably didn't make your B-Ball team and want to go to the NBA. Well, you should get more realistic dreams! Your coach cut you for a reason and just so you know, it is even HARDER to get on a college Basketball team than it is to get on a H.S. team

they recruit the best. for college. Anyone can try out for the team. the team are picked by high school scouts.
