sorry, but it seems like you wont have your plants grow too much before the date.

Might as well plant them tho. You dont have to spend money.. raid the recycling bin, use cans, or yogurt containers.

Get some dirt from someplace landscaped. Take a bag and scoop up some dirt, put it in your containers and plant the seeds.

You may get tiny spouts...you may not, but either way, you didnt have to pay any money! Good luck!

You're lucky. Its fall and peas like cold weather. Not to cold though. From the seedlings poking out of the soil until peas to eat is about a month. You'll have some decent sized pea plants but not likely any peas.
Start the seeds right now--all you need is a glass full of wet paper twoel--not too wet though. Put the seed between the glass and the paper towel. Put them outside in the sunshine during the day and bring them in at night. (if you are in a climate where its still really hot in the day (ie. over 20 celsius) you might want to put them not quite in direct sunlight.
What you basically need are some pea plants. You can bs the data later or figure out the actual experiment once you've got some sprouted seeds.

Get some of those little empty milk cartons at school they make good planters. Put a couple of little holes in the bottom for drainage. Go out side an dig the dirt to put in them. The only thing you will have to buy is the seeds. Most everyone has sugar in their kitchens.

It depend on different factors on how long it takes a Pea to germinate. You better get started.

Look at these: site:
For all those germinating seeds, I thought this table might be of some use to pass along:

There are more important things, but not to you ...

All you can do is start the experiment now, and hope for the best. Six of the best, if I was your teacher.
