There are many services like Napster, I-Tunes, Rhapsody, Walmart.com, BuyMusic.com, etc. etc. where you can legally download music for only 1 dollar. That's as close to free as you can get. Just a few years ago, this wasn't even a possibility.

A lot of people feel that since the internet has opened so many doors, that they should get free music.

Personally I find it sickening. If you steal from a bank, it's wrong--everyone knows that. If you steal from an old woman, it's wrong--everyone knows that. But if you steal songs from the internet, all of a sudden it's okay.

I for one purchase my music. No too long ago we didn't have the choice of creating our own CDs. Taking advantage of downloading music illegally is never going to end well.
