Pokemon Silver/Gold?

Question

A few of my friends and I are starting a "Pokemon League" and we can use either the silver or gold version. Since they're both the same price, which one should I get?

if youre going to have to fight each other, get Gold if you dont want to have to level Lugia up much. but if you want to get more customized moves with Lugia, get silver.

i mention that Lugia is better because flying-fire pokemon always had 1 major problem with them. theyre both strong and weak against ice. never good. Lugia however can use Physic, Hydro Pump, Hyper Beam and any other good move.

On Pokemon Sunday next Sunday, there is going to be a substantial recreation fact, from the tricks given so some distance, it would seem an entire remake of Pokemon Gold/Silver is going to be introduced. in basic terms like in 2004, with the Leaf eco-friendly and hearth pink remakes. As an avid Pokemon participant, i'm able to't watch for those remakes.

i have both of them and i dont play any of them anymore but i always loved playing silver. if you want to get them at a lower price buy them off ebay or at a used game store. i would sell mine to you if i could.

silver
you can get ho-oh (flying fire) at level 60 but later in the game
you can get lugia (flying water/ice) at level 30 earlier in the game

gold
same thing but lugia has the higher level

I've always liked Gold, so I'd say go with that.
