I want to know how and why you have such an item,If it is an item taken from the ship before its` maiden voyage, all well and good, put it in an auction it will fetch a lot of money. However if it was an item stolen from the wreck of the Titanic, then it should go to a museum as the wreck is an official grave site. I wonder if you would be happy to say you had an item that was from a grave that someone dug up and plundered in your local cemetery. It is exactly the same, it is the worst kind of theft. Also I can`t understand why you should not want to keep such an item if it was obtained prior to the sinking.

First of all: You could have used better grammar.
Now, for the main point. It really is your decision. You could sell it to a fanatic of Titanic and gain tons of money. You could wear it with pride and show it off (if it's a piece of jewelry that is). You could hand it over to a local museum (and possibly ask them to mention that you gave it to them) that you can visit frequently to see it over and over (or a distant one so you never have to see it again). It is really up to you.
