I'm having trouble starting my gas leaf blower. I lost the manual and i see that there is a choke and blow speed and I know that there is a certain method to starting it. I just can't figure it out!

Thanks

Step 1: Make sure you have the correct gas (Petrol) mix, which should be 2-stroke, 40:1. If in doubt, empty the tank (use for cleaning purpose), and make a new mix, precisely!
Step 2: There is a little "rubber bubble" near where the choke lever is. Press and release it 6 times, slowly.
Step 3: Put the blow speed on its slowest setting.
Step 4: Switch the On/Off switch into "On".
Step 5: Put the choke to "full on".
Step 6: Pull the starter rope 2 times, not more.
Step 7: Put the choke to "half"
Step 8: Pull the starter rope again....it should start running.
Step 9: Put the choke to "off".
If that doesn't work, you might have dirt in your spark plug. Needs to remove and clean.
No point in trying "for hours" if it doesn't start after above procedure, you just flood the engine. Need to wait hours between trials......

Spark Plugs foul very easily on those 2 stroke engines. Especially if they have been sitting for a while. It's a cheap easy thing to try. replace the plug and see if that does it.
