my friend accidently spammed me and doesn't know how to undo it.

You probably have to send them an email, then CALL your friend. Discuss with them how the SPAM button works, and look for your e-mail in the SPAM folder. But YES, you will have to discuss this with them.

You cannot accidently spam someone either you sent them
junk or someone who controls your computer did.

If it is in yahoo email just got to your options in mail and remove name that was spammed,If on messenger just tell him to delete you off of his Friends list and re add you.Good Luck
