My husband work for a big company, they offer him a job in the same company in the north and right now we are in the south. So he accepted their offer and was released of his other job and then when we we're on the road for our long trip to the north to find an apartment, he got a call telling him he can't have that job anymore! We we're shocked ! Here we are in the middle of nowhere with our 3 kids and we had planned and made everything to move on nov 16th like booking a moving truck, cancelling our lease, ... So anyone being through this or any lawyer could answer that question? I think it's not fair at all, if they offer a job it means everything is fine and my husband didn't do anything wrong they just decided that like that. SO here we are between our packing boxes. My husband is seeing his boss(the one in the south) next week and he wants to fight to have this job in the north back because we think it is not right to just dumped us like that. Thanks for any answer!

you need to hire an attorney and sue for the money you were out on the move, including the moving truck, lost wages and attorney fees. You also need to sue for any other expenses such as gas and of course pain and suffering and cost of having to find another place to live. Something possitive will come out of this for you...possibly the employers that did you wrong will want to settle out of court or maybe even offer you husband a job. I can tell you though that I moved from Arkansas to Ohio once and I absolutely hated it. There was such a difference in Southern life and Northern life....I just couldnt addapt. Good luck!
