About "Chariots of the Gods": This book was completely discredited and debunked 20 years ago. Much of Van Daniken's work was drawn from the work of H.P. Lovecraft, a wonderful FICTION writer.

So far we've seen no verifiable evidence of other sentient species. That said, I believe with some certainty that somewhere in our galaxy at some past, present, or future time, a sentient species did/does/will exist.
Why haven't we heard from them?
Perhaps they are not technologically advanced enough to be heard. They may be mastering stone knives right now, or experiencing their own Rennaisance.
Perhaps they are here right now. Any species sufficiently advanced to travel interstellar distances would be able to hide or masquerade with ease. That Boeing 737 that just flew by may be a surveillance craft.
Perhaps they are so far away they will never notice us and vice versa.
Perhaps they existed a million years ago and died out.
Perhaps they will exist a million years from now.
It is really impossible to know for sure.
The Drake Equation suggests that there is sentient life out there. The Fermi Paradox casts doubt. Play around with the calculation form at the second link and see what you think.

Loch Ness Monster, easily fake i might haev theory, because of the fact the loch has been scoured back and back back, and although there is an underwater tunnel connecting the loch to someplace else, curiously blocked. Bigfoot, a threat, yet no longer likely, as can any creature that vast particularly no longer have any conclusive pictures of it?? UFOs and extraterrestrial beings, a lot a lot greater possibly, given the dimensions of the universe we live in, and it would be smug to presumethat basically because of the fact we will not holiday throgh area that no-you will. regardless of if, in all probability enormous form of sightings that have been recorded- fake.

I personally feel Aliens are real.This can be proved by the fact that hydrogen and carbon exist everywhere in the universe which are the basic of life origin.Humans who report such sightings aren't fool.The thing is that man is not prepared to face the truth that he is not the only dominant of the universe and there are other communities that are more advanced than he is. Man has just reached saturn and the rest of the whole universe remains unexplored which is expected to take many more milleniums.

Sorry all you sci-fi fans, but the myth that aliens or ufo's are real is just absolutely absurd. I cannot believe how many gullible human beings we have on this planet. Tho perhaps they just want to believe there is still some mystery and they look to the stars for that. But come on, aliens?! Can you really believe that there are little creatures that are actually Inteligent living somewhere in the universe. There are not enough amounts of oxygen and other required elements for life to even be possible in that form.

We would have to be pretty arrogant to think that we are the only civilization in the whole galaxy there are galaxies that we have yet to discover. Just like the underwater world of the oceans and seas we are discovering creatures that we have never seen every day.
Put it this way......I had a friend who worked with the top secret division in the military and asked her for some alien confirmation and she couldn't say,.....but then I asked her if she herself believed and she said absolutely. that was all I needed to hear.

Given the millions of other Galaxys and Planets out there the are thousands of planets capable of sustaining life. Many are very similiar to earth. To believe that we are totally alone in the universe is arogant. But I don't believe any other lifeforms are close to us. Millions or Billions of lite years away I'm sure the Universe is full of life. If it wasn't what a waste of space that would be.

As far as aliens visiting Earth, that is ridiculous and has not happened.

We never know, but i dont think that they is ufo's or aliens because they is too much carbon dioxide for life too exit.
