i bet you thought this was a joke....but really why do clowns have big feet and does their big feet make you laugh

No, nothing about a clown makes me laugh. The reason they have big feet is it is supposed to be funny.

The bigger the feet the easier to trip over. Haven't you noticed how people laugh when someone slips over - you say "had a good trip?" or something similar - so clowns do it for the laughs.

Because in clown shows they always drop a hammer on their toes, and if they didn't have such big feet then the hammer would miss and would not make such great entertainment.
