Evolution is based on natural selection, so there for cloning is not a part of it. Most resurch that I have read about states that a clones life span is shorter than the origanals. Cloning is, in a way a moral issue. Say you needed a new heart, they could clone you and make you a brand new heart that would not be regected by your body, but in the process they have created a human life. Is it murder to kill it for the heart even though it is a copy of you? Does it gain the same basic rights as you at "birth"? Just questions for people to think about...

i don't think so. Evolution is an adaption with the changes in environment and cloning is not an adaption created by nature but by humans. it doesn't matter how much they live but how they live. So if a person lives all his life in the city and his clone in the country, the clone will definetly live the longer.

Cloning is not an evolutionary step. Banana trees are routinely cloned but no one talks about a banana evolving into a banana cream pie or anything. Cloning is a way of making an exact copy so it is the opposite of evolving which is a way of making something new.

No. Cloning would halt evolution.
If you are making exact genetic copies you remove the possibility of small genetic mutations which are the basis of evolution.

Philosophy and human morality and reasoning serve for making a extra helpful international, and a extra helpful information of the international. previous human reasoning no longer something is rather considered genuine or incorrect. We people have considered many stuff to be unmoral or inhuman as an attempt to furnish everybody a extra helpful high quality of existence. it incredibly is incredibly very similar to we've changed our morality by way of out time.
