i usually wash my football boots after a few matches and clean the inside as well. will this harm them? also if is bad are there any alternatives and how often shud i wash them?

Washing your boots isn't bad at all.you're more hygienic than my best friend .Hes not washed his since he bought them(3 years ago).But the drying technique does matter a lot!You should preferably leave them in the sun instead of just putting them somewhere around the house.Also,use a toothbrush to clean the studs.Your detergent shouldn't be too harsh,should be something like Surf Excel.Also,during every wash,put a little dettol/savlon/any other medical disinfectant in the detergent solution(2-4 drops) so that your feet dont develop any fungal infections.

you will nt get use to the boots..u can just dry them..
