I have been friends with this guy for a few years and use to like him. We went out but not for long cause we think of each other more as friends. My bf has been friends with my guy friend longer than me and knows we use to be close. My bf is jealous.

Forget the freinds thing.
Guys know guys.
There is no such thing when younger as friends. (past puberty)
The brain is clicking weird sex things about every 6 seconds.
They know it is a waiting game.
He should be jealous. And he knows him well enough!
Not even real common when you get older.

of course it is ok to have guy friends even if u have a boyfriend, unless you start flirting with this guy friend, then this is a different story. It is normal for your bf to be jealous of this guy because you once had a past. It will all be up to you to show your bf that he is the one you love and this other guy is merely a friend. If you can prove this to your bf, then everything will go on smoothly. You get to have a bf and a good guy friend.

It is ok to have a guy friend but you got to make sure how you behave in front of your boyfriend when you guy friend is around and why is your BF is jeolous if use's guys know each other maybe he see something more than a friend in your guy friend or in you

I think you should be able to hang out with who ever you want. If your boyfriend is jealous of this then he doesn't trust you and without trust you will never have a good relationship. Boys will be jealous but just explain to him that you and this guy are just friends and he needs to trust that hes the only one you want to be with. If he can't then its his problem not yours. Of course you can, and if your boyfriend is jealous then he's insecure. He can't tell you that you can't have male friends. Are you doing anything to give him doubts about your loyalty to him? i'm guessing he's just insecure.

thats a hard one, my husband likes my friend/old bf now, butt it took him alittle while to know that i wasnt going anywhere and that my feelings are for him. hopefully you wont have to pick between the 2. good luck

Yes, but go out of your way to make sure that your boyfriend knows that they're not romantic interests. And don't ever get too close to them.
