See, uhm... I don't know what kind of feeling is this, really. But, I secretly like a guy friend of mine. I am sooo secretive and hidden about these kinds of feelings because I don't trust anyone... even those who are dear to me. I just hate it though.

Well, this particular guy has a "past". He's branded as the bad guy or whatever. And me, I'm the school's resident nerd. I'm classmates with this guy and he's pretty cool, actually. I just don't know if he's really sincere. Though, I know he doesn't like me.

I'm just happy seeing him. But, imprisoning these thoughts and not even telling my bestfriend or even a single loved one about this bothers me.

I just seek my solace in my diary and writing in my, indeed, private journal.

My heart's so heavy. But, I'm afraid of what'll they think of me when I tell. Is being secretive bad? Help!

Trust me on this one: If you swear somebody to secrecy about something you tell them, it's an unwritten law that they get to tell ONE other person.

Well, you get one other person telling one other person and you know what? pretty soon a LOT of people know your personal business.

What this means is that the guy you like will hear about it. This could be a good thing (it turns out he may decided he likes YOU too).. or it could be a bad thing (he in fact doesn't like you and now avoids you).

I vote for keeping IMPORTANT things to yourself (or just tell your mom cause she doesn't travel in the same circles you do haha).

Good luck!

me too!!!! i keep my feelings inside cuz i feel weird telling people about them. i think it is kinda bad cuz we never let the person we care about know...diaries are awesome no? try telling just 1 person u trust most. it will help u feel better and u can talk about him with him/her.

I don't personally think so. If you don't someone to know something, then don't tell them!
