Mine was The Faraway Tree. Just loved this book and because i lived in the countryside with a wood 10 mins away i used to think there was one there and tried to find it. Oh to be 7 again

For picture books probably Umbrella by Taro Yashimo. Of course I probably had about thirty or forty 'favorites' I took turns requesting. But Umbrella pops to mind first.

For chapter books, I loved the Little House on the Prarie series. I also loved the Ramona series by Beverly Cleary. And Winnie the Pooh and Alice in Wonderland.

I loved the Famous Five!I lived every of their adventures, and longed to be George and have an island, and a dog like Timmy!And have wonderful picnics around the English countryside!!
I also loved The Chronicles of Narnia, and the William the Rebel series.

I always loved The Chronicles of Narnia...but yes...I saw someone put Charlottes Web...yupp have to go with that one too!
My daughter got The Faraway Tree from her dad for her birthday, she's into Rohald Dahl at the mo...she's 9.
