only a few most other people use carbon sticks because they are lighter stronger and can flex more. these qualitys makes the player's shots harder and faster. but a wooden stick is a bit heavy and they tend to break if flexed beond a point. If the nhl players use a wooden stick they won't want it to break once every 3 minuets so they will have to use a thicker stick which tend to be bulky and does not contribute that well to the playing.

They all should. How many times must these new composite sticks break on an important play or rush before players give up on them. I know they add punch to the shot but wait till a game 7, last minute stick break in the Stanley Cup Finals that costs a team a win..oooppss..

particularly a lot all of us has switched over to composite, yet there ARE some adult men nevertheless clinging to the previous wood sticks. on the 2nd i'm basically familiar with what the gamers on the Tampa Bay Lightning use (as this is the team I relatively have season tickets to and watch maximum generally) and on the 2nd there are not any gamers on the team making use of wood sticks. Fredrick Modin continually used one on an analogous time as he replaced into right here, and replaced into the final Lightning participant to attain this until eventually he replaced into traded to Columbus. Im unsure if he remains making use of one available.

Al Macinins used a one piece(wooden) and he had the hardest(fastest clocked at 108) every year. Rarely did you see his stick break when he boomed one from the point...

Markus Nasland uses a wooden stick, and he is excellent with it!
