hello. i'm a 14 year old boy. for about the past 6months or so,i have had shins(right and left)that are tender to touch,and each shin has a small lump on it that is tender. the lump is not visible, but you can feel it. there is no shin pain while running or anything, just when i touch the mid-shin area it feels tender. what could it be? also, yesterday, in the middle of basketball practice, i noticed lower back pain. now today it is worse, espescially on the left lower back when i trie to bend over. what could this be? also, what should i do for both of these conditions? thnkyou.

tell your parents and have them take you to the doctor
you sound intelligent i have never heard a 14 year old use the term palpable mass so you should have been able to figure out what to do by yourself

Well the very first thing that obtained right here to brain used to be as soon as taxes of path nevertheless I first-rate do this as soon as a year ;) so as that stands proud because the per month funds I have obtained to outlive very little and i try to get Christmas and birthday models and the items that come circular like Easter and this time St. Patrick's and such so reduce coupons and cost fit and concerns like that so that's listing in my e-newsletter

The best thing for you to do is get your folks to take you to the doctor for a check-up. It could be nothing, or it could be something that requires some sort of treatment.

Go to a doctor!
You are at that special age when you start worrying, usually about nothing. BUT get your behind, legs, and back to a physician.
He or she might put your mind at ease.

You really need to tell your parents about this. I don't think you can get a fair diagnosis from Y!Answers, you should see a doctor.
