Do Republican business people pay low wages so that we can feel good about donating to the food pantry?

They pay low wages 'cause they hate for anyone but themselves to have a good standard of living. THey want to create a banana republic in the US where a tiny minority of rich control the multitudes of poor with union-busting, religious control & a culture that says the poor deserve low pay 'cause they're labelled as "lazy" by their rich overlords.

Well, that's a little unfair in that both Republicans and Democrats are about the same things, money and power. There really isn't any difference between the Republican that is going to sell you out right after the election and the Democrat that is going to sell you out right after the election. Sadly, that's 95% of both parties.

I work for a very conservative company and we are all paid pretty well. I dont think political affiliation has anything to do with the business decision of how much people get paid.
