They won't admit that because they would have to think beyond the left-right paradigm they have been fed their whole life. But, to be fair Democrats won't admit it either, because the sad truth is we have one party, the Republocrats, that put on a show for the voters to keep them from realizing they live in a Corporatocracy.

Oh, he's a Republican alright. All it takes to be a Republican is to check your brains at the door, register at the election office as Republican and then do exactly what the RNC and big business tells you to do. He's already done all that.

I think what you may have meant to ask was "Do true >conservatives< admit that Bush is no conservative?"

And the answer to that question is a resounding, unqualified YES. There are practically no real conservatives in government anymore, especially in the two major political parties.

From a review of the current corruption and resulting resignations from all factions of the Republican elected representatives, both house and senate, I find it hard to give no other answer than they seem to be peas from the same pod. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

I do think that not all Republicans are like those now in office, I think the conservative republican voters have been guilty of voting for the party, instead of individuals with morals and creditability.

I am not really a true Republican I am more of a true conservative. I vote by my morals.

I think Bush isn't the greatest but he has done well even though the media machine is out to get him. They are jealous because they are not from Texas.

Bush Ain't No Republican

As they prepare to cast their vote on Tuesday, traditional Republicans must ask themselves whether this administration is truly the party of Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt and Dwight Eisenhower.

GREAT QUESTION! I thought Republicans were all about limited government -i.e. keeping the government out of the private lives of their citizenry. What happened? Oh, and what about fiscal conservatism? George W. has doubled the national debt since he has been in office....Ronald Reagan and Barry Goldwater are rolling over in their graves.
