Why do you dread it, hon? I love Christmas, it's my favorite time of year and I'm not even Christian. I hate to think of people miserable during this time. I don't think it makes you a Scrooge - someone who's a Scrooge is stingy and unfeeling. Take it one day at a time and try to see at least some good in it if you can.

((((hugs)))) I won't tell you to have a Merry Christmas, but Good Luck!

I lOVE Christmas. It is my favorite holiday, but I know how you feel.At the beginning,I dreaded it too because of all the pressure and stress from getting all the Christmas presents. There is a million questions that sometimes you have to answer at once sometimes. You try to think if you can afford what your family wants. You want to get your loving family anything and everything you want, but sometimes you can't because of the money.I don't know if it is like that with you but it certainly is like that with me.It really depends on what exactly about Christmas you are dreading. If you are dreading it for all the wrong reasons, then you are a scrooge. It just depends.I hope this helped you.

I love Christmas. What it stands for the celebrating of Christmas, but I hate traveling all over this huge state to see family. Just because we live in the same state, it doesn't make it convenient to come visit with two children!

Come over here and sit next to me. We can form an alliance to combat endless versions of "Rudolph" and holly berries everywhere and dreadful decorations that were out of step back in the 40s.

I started working retail three years ago and it's pretty much taken all my Christmas spirit. This year my husband is in Afghanistan, so I'm not even going to put up the tree nor celebrate.
