For an upcoming concert we The awsome school band need to memorize LEAN ON ME. It is really fun. So for anyone who plays a flute or any other instruement how do u memorize music? I am having a hard time with it. The other night i sat for an hour and got to measure 21 or earlier. Need all the help in the world!!! Thanks.
PS it is hard to walk and play an instrument.

go slow. just take a couple lines at a time. and the next day memorize new lines and repeat the other ones. trust me. it helps cuz i play piano, drums, and guitar

Just practice alot. You could also just say the notes or chords to yourself over and over again. I play guitar, so I know what you're talking about! It just takes a while.

Learn a bar at a time. play the first bar and memorise it, then play the second bar and memorise it, then play both bars etc.
