Distance =Square root of (Diff X squared+Diff Y squared)
Diff X= - 4 - (-5)= - 4 +5 = +1
Diff Y= 0 - (- 3)= 0 + 3 = + 3
3 squared = 9
1 squared = 1
9 + 1 = 10
Answer is the square root of 10 = 3.162
Problem #2 is solved by the same procedure and the answer is 7.211

The difference of the y's is 3
Use Pythagoras: D = root(1*1 + 3*3) = V10
