Are we living in a world with selfish, self centered and individualistic people (If not the world, in Urban India) or is it my own negative feeling about the surroundings?
Are there people around who can feel for or appreciate for in this world ?

Oh yes ,there are lots of humanity,it depends on how to look at.From the same position on earth, u can see the ground ,or u can see the sky,it all depends on u r angle of elevation,i mean how u look at it,choice is urs. in a greater perspective u have to look at what better u can derive from a adverse situation,there lies u r capability to correct the wrong what u think with open ,unbiased mind &what is socially,democratically is absolute right at that time.

Not all people are selfish and self centered. I believe there are alot of people trying to help make the world a better more natural place to live by being enviromentally conscious and teaching other people.

Humanity depends on one's own cultural ideology and within that personal belief structure. What if a person believes that the race, class, & gender system give authority to who counts and who doesn't. On the other hand what if an individual believes in respecting cultural differences? Would that depend on an individual willingness to give credience to all other cultural equality. Is it possiable to find cross-cultural social equiety, the one's who believe they a privilidged will give up their statis to thoes who they see as underplividged creating a shared humanity. Yes, it is possiable, but how do we accomplish it?

Yes, there is still humanity left. Currently there is a lot of self-centered, rude people, but the few shining examples that are out there give us hope for the masses.
