Problem is i have tried to reboot but failed. also tried safe mode with command promt to logon as administrator but i dont have the tabs to click own accounts so i have to type it in. any suggestions as to what i should type in to logon username and password?

Go here and post your question they are pretty good at this stuff.Or you can go to tools and do a system restore point and try taking it back to a certain date and see if that helps good luck

You are screwed- at this point your OS has a built-in Admin account, which commonly enough we all forget the initial password- I am assuming you have tried all the usual combinations, including a blank.
Boot from the OS CD-ROM and let it perform a Repair, if this fails, perform a clean install.
