What's most important is that you do go!

A black jacket and jeans is a bit casual but still in the appropriate category as long as they are not tattered, loud or tacky. The mourners are NOT going to be looking at your wardrobe! All they care about is that you cared enough to come.

Ya know when I buried my husband 4 yrs ago, I didn't care if someone came in naked as long as they were there. It doesn't matter what you wear. Being there for the person who lost someone close is all that matters. A funeral is not a fashion show so if you want to wear the jeans that would be fine. If you are wearing a black jacket/blazer then wear it but please just show up and offer your condolences

no, wearing jeans to a funeral is somewhat disrespectful, go out and try to find some black dress pants.

My best advice is that if your younger (<13) then its ok to wear jeans because you are considered a child. But if you are older then that you may be looked down upon and may want to consider purchasing some nice pants or wearing a skirt of some sort. Best of Luck :)

darling there somewhat is not any desirable form to positioned directly to a funeral see you later because it is not outrageous. in case you have tight gown pants merely positioned on a good shirt with them and according to danger a jacket or sweater. the element to undergo in recommendations at funerals is which you do no longer desire to allure to interest to your self. So dodge incredible hues and kinds. yet another decision you have is to hire a in shape for the day. Any mens apartment shop could have an array of suits to boot formal positioned on that must be proper.

i think jeans are too casual. i would go and buy a pair of black pants or skirt. i think you can wear a different shirt color under the black coat but the rest of you should be black.
