It depends on what MP3 settings you are using.
For the Internet standard, most people probably aren't going to notice much difference, save for perhaps classical music fans, since classical tends to use the higher end of the frequency spectrum, and also has more extreme dynamic differences [contrast between loud and soft parts].

Of course stevo. .wav files are way higher quality. Its just easy to compress the sound into an mp3

i prefer the ipod myself. i think they have better quality and will lat longer. my friends have had better luck with ipods.
