Hmm... I would say break up with him, but first, do you really like him? If you do, you should talk to him and tell him you don't appreciate saying something like you paid him to hold your hand. If he doesn't get it, leave him. And if he said that in front of others, then that is an indication that you shouldn't be with him because who knows how far he may go one day? He could go around spreading rumors about you doing even worse things that could ruin your reputation. Just think: is it worth it to go out with someone who could one day destroy the way other people see you?
