my boss asked me to manage a very important event, the thing is i never manage an event before... so please HELP me...

first off, what kind of event... second off, all you will have to do it set everything up on time, manage who will be where and when and how, and what they will be doing.. Where the place is, how it is set up, ..... just pretty much making sure everything is where its supposed to be, stays where its supposed to be, and does what its supposed to do. ♥

You will need an events planner and coordinator for a big event. A small event you can handle yourself with a good caterer. Ask the Chamber of Commerce to recommend someone. The service people you hire will need to know how many guests, any dietary restrictions, theme, open/ cash bar, etc. Just make sure that everyone has a good time, that's your job. Good luck.

Without knowing the type of event, it will be very difficult to answer this question. For example, is it a high profile meeting or a rock concert? Last time I checked they were organized in very different ways.
