you should ask how i can check that iam having a onboard graphics or dedicated graphic card.

Look on the back of the pc. If the monitor is connected on the side where the mouse and keyboard connect you have on board video. If it is connected in hte middle where the modem is then you have either AGP or PCI video(which is a card.)

any computer where you cansee things on the monitor has a video card. sometimes they are built into the mother board and other times people buy video card and plug them into the motherboard. if you want to know which video card your computer has go to control panel, click on system, then click the hardware tab, then click the device manager button, then click the display adapters entry, and there you will find the info on your video card

well unless ur pc is of the p3 era u hav atleast an onboard display card, video card as you call it ..
for an exernal one just check out dxdiag in the run command dialog box, go to display tab and check out the details of ur pc's graphics adapter.. u'll kno if u hav an internal or external one..

Some motherboards have onboard video.

You can run the Direct X diagnostic tool and it will show which card you have installed.

You can also right click on the desktop and select properties then select the settings tab.

Start, Control Panel, System, Hardware and Device Manager. You will see it there, or not. I assume you were speaking of an extra video card.

all pcs have a video card but if your trying to do a newer game or somthing you might need a better one than the factory edition one given to all pcs
