I'm pretty sure that it had to have a few good things like the fact that if we didn't have that, we would have no African American citizens.

Excuse me for my spelling. Thank you for pointing that out. I didn't even notice that. Sorry.

Many good things come from bad, and in the case of the slave trade, there is cultural diversity throughout the Caribbean and Americas, the invention of Jazz & Blues (without Blues we would never have had the great English Rock bands like Led Zep, Pink Floyd et al), and of course there is the diversity of cuisine.
America would be a far worse country without the influence of Martin Luther KIng, and many other 'black' Americans.
Just switch on ESPN, and notice how many of Americas sporting heroes aren't white.

in all reality a lot of good came from it. but having it was a terrible thing to begin with. it upsets me it even happened. that people can be so dumb as to think of someone else as property because their skin is a different color and their language is different. but it was one of those huge events in American history that helped shaped todays America. I dont exactly agree with America today but there are some good things and these good things may not exist if the slave trade hadn't happened. also this is true now that it has been abolished for a long time we have a more diverse society. people are still racist for no reason because plantations are gone and there is no need for slave labor in America so why do people hate other people based on skin color? but modern America came from the slave trade and the underground railroad and the eventual abolishment of slavery. so did a more diverse American society and many other smaller things we overlook but exist because of the way America was shaped early on.

One of the most wonderful miricle came from an African American George washington Carver. I believe he was a gift to America for overcoming such a terriable scourge to man kind as slavery!

Many would not have come here they would have stayed in their homelands. And we or the world would not have benefited from their gifts and our struggles are what make us who we are!

well, you could have citizens of african origin in a country without bring them in as slaves in the first place. Just in case you don't know that. They're citizen despite of slavery, not because of.

Enormous wealth for the slave traders, and moneyed plantation and sweat shop owners. Was that good? Let's say they benefited.

It's probably not really a good question for you to be asking if your going to misspell African in the first place. Why you are asking such a debate promoting question when you can't spell? Sorry you asked you for it.
