The royal court of Nepal moves around the country every 6 months or so, because it's a mountainous country, and certain places have milder climates than others, at certain times of year. Technically, this means it also changes its capital.

Yeah, it's called Europe, Belgium (Brussels) and France (Strasbourg). Whilst they order us to save energy, not travel and generally be miserable, they do the opposite.

Moving various files and equipment between the two cities takes 10 large trucks and the costs for two locations are estimated at € 200 million a year. A force of 30 men loads the trucks for the 400 km journey between the two locations. Around 5,000 people attached to the European Parliament, such as parliamentarians, advisors, clerks and journalists, also move between Brussels and Strasbourg.

Southafrica used to do that during the apartheid era.

I don't know if they do it anymore .
