Depends on if it's really a question or just their opinion in the form of a question. Sometimes more information is better.

At times. I like a paragraph, maybe 300 words but sometimes people write long novels that I just lose my patience with. But then again sometimes people don't explain themselves when they ask something and then people will answer with:

??????????????

Huh?

What?

or something like that.
