What is anyones favorite spot in Italy?

I love Italy. We lived there for several years and are planning someday to go back. Just curious what everyones favorite spots are..

Hi,

After traveling throughout Italy for many years my wife and I have found the Southern part of Italy to be our favorite region.

Apulia is where we have returned most times but also Calabria and Sicily are nice places.

You will have a nice trip wherever you go but try another part than you did earlier!

We have a few,

1. Standing at one one end of Piazza Nuova in Rome looking at all the fountains sparkling in the sunshine.

2. Standing on the roof of St. Peter's in Rome looking down on the square and all the people looking like ants.

3. Standing at one end of St. Marks Square in Venice very early in the morning, looking towards the cathedral glinting and glistening in the early sunlight.

4. The view across Florence from the Piazzale Michelangelo with Brunelleschi's Duomo dominating the terracotta skyline.

Heigh ho..................wish I was there now instead of a freezing cold November in dear old Blighty.

Quirnbach, Germany, the small city interior the Rhineland the place my kinfolk is from. Visited 3 years in the past on a similar time as interpreting in a foreign country and in spite of the reality that it replaced into my first time there it felt like abode.

Hi,, I love Florence and Pisa,, they are so nice and great food,, lots to see and do.... I try and go at least 2 times a year...
